I teamed up with Valerie to create a cinematic portrait that would allow her personality to shine through — beyond poses or styling. We shot across several representative locations in Barcelona, using each setting to echo different facets of her character. The result is a short, social-ready video that combines aesthetic visuals with emotional presence.
The goal was to build something that models could share with agencies — not just to showcase how they move, but how they are. In a space where polaroids dominate first impressions, this format offers something more human, more layered. It bridges the world of fashion visuals with the emotional texture of personal storytelling.
Run-and-gun style, natural light, minimal crew, just Valerie and the city. This stripped-down approach allowed for spontaneity and authenticity. The video was designed for vertical formats (Reels, Stories) to meet models and agents where they already are.
The piece sparked conversations with other models and creatives, pointing toward a new kind of model reel, one that feels personal, cinematic, and true.
